tonight (well, today) marks Sunday the 2nd of October. It also means that in less than 24 hours time, it's back to hair pulling, putting up with classmates that laugh like hyenas and jump around like monkeys, lecturers that don't give a proper job brief (speaking of which there is one assignment that i completely don't understand, and thus, i have not done it in the 2 weeks of free time. pro active, i am not, but can you really blame me? Sometimes i don't understand these stories of lecturers being mean or cold shouldered. i mean, i get that perhaps you're preparing us for the industry, but students don't go to school for free. students go there to actually learn something and not just sit there and get a job brief and 'alright, now scram and go do your job' (alright, slight exaggeration but i'm quite sure it's not an exaggeration in certain cases either.) but then again, do we really understand what goes on in their heads? we barely even understand what goes through ours), a cigarette or two at every free opportunity, a classroom full of blank uninspired sheets and really, just the longing to be home or somewhere i can actually learn something.
i'm actually at my sister's place for the night, and tomorrow (well, later), we're going to the zoo. perfect way to end my 2 unproductive weeks of holidays of doing nothing productive at all.
